MOISTURE & MOLD

Moisture and mold can be found in many locations in a building from a number of sources.  It can be detected in the building envelope, under a building (such as a crawlspace or flooring system), in the plumbing / piping, as well as HVAC components, among many other areas.  As part of our moisture evaluation, we look for water intrusion, condensation issues, humidified spaces, and vapor transport through building assemblies.  Through the identification of moisture sources, testing for mold is performed and remediation alternatives are suggested.  Mold is often the source for occupant health concerns / discomfort.
